We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. The price shown is the total you pay.
2. What we do
Compare the Cool (Deutschlandedition) publishes product reviews and price comparisons. We also sell a small range of downloadable PDF guides (section 4). We do not sell the products we review. When you buy a reviewed product you buy from the retailer, on the retailer's terms.
3. Prices and stock information
Prices and stock status for retailer products come from the retailers' listings and are checked periodically. They may have changed by the time you visit. Always check the price on the retailer's site before you buy.
4. Our PDF products

- Running Cost Scorecard: £3.99. Local kWh estimate for your device — branded PDF.
Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. The price shown is the total you pay. There are no other fees. You pay by card through Stripe.
Your order is a contract when you complete payment and we confirm it by email. We then make the PDF available to download on the confirmation page and email you a link. The PDF is for your own personal use. You may not resell or republish it.
The PDFs are general guidance based on the product details and figures you choose. They are not professional advice (for example electrical, building or safety advice). Check the manufacturer's instructions before you rely on them.

6. Using the site

The content, reviews and comparisons on this site and in our PDFs belong to us or our licensors. You may read and print them for personal use. Do not copy or republish them without our written permission.
8. Our liability
The review and comparison content is information, not advice. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate, but we are not responsible for decisions you make based on it beyond what the law allows, and we are not liable for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes apply to orders placed after the update. The date at the top shows the latest version.
10. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, email [email protected] and we will reply promptly.
